Duralift garage door opener remote

My Duralift garage door opener remote is not working anymore and I want to recode it using an universal garage door remote (the clicker) however my old one doesn't have the specific codes. Does anyone know how I would code this? or do I have to end up buying a whole new garage door opener. The opener works fine!
