I hope this doesn't sound like a stupid question but you said that you liked the look of the furniture--did you actually sit on any of it? Because when I started looking for a new couch and chair last year, I went to Norwalk, it was new in my area and I loved the pieces that were shown in the mailer I had received. But when I went into the store, without fail every single couch I sat on was more uncomfortable than the last. So disappointing because I really did like the look/style, etc., of a lot of their things. I will say that the leather recliners were very comfortable but I wasn't looking for a recliner. Then I did read here that they only use sinuous springs in their upholstery, not eight way hand-tied. I didn't ask about that though because I knew I would not be buying an uncomfortable couch.

Do you have an Arhaus Furniture near you? That is where I ended up purchasing my new couch and leather chair with ottoman and I am VERY pleased. The couch does have the kiln dried hardwood frame with eight way hand-tied springs (not all their upholstery is eight way though, you do need to check if that's what you want). The quality is excellent and the customer service was the best I have ever had when buying furniture.
