Possible - yes
a job for amateurs - probably not
a lot depends on the terrain and how much maneuvering is required.
I'd want to attach wooden skids (4x4s at least) along the bottom and a lot of bracing at the ground level, across the width and diagonally.

Just heard "skids" mentioned today, as you said.. This must be the way to tackle this!

Timbers across the width under the bottom rails. Jack up the timbers and drive a flatbed trailer under the timbers. Lower the timbers onto the trailer and drive away. Unloading is the reverse process.
