It depends on the drill in question. Some of the larger ones (e.g., Hilti TE76) are ok for smaller jobs. They aren't meant to replace a jackhammer.

OK. That's what I needed to hear. I've never used any kind of electric chisel. I was just wondering if they'd be any good at shearing off bolts and nuts like you can with a big cold chisel and heavy hammer. Sounds like the electrics are for very light weight stuff.

Guess it's a big hammer and cold chisel and/or side grinders for me in taking off bigger nuts and bolts.

A nut splitter is faster for nuts.
