We put this in our dining room about 1 year and a half ago and we really like it. Ours is in the cappuchino so it is dark. You can see smudges in the floor but overall, the floor looks great. We're thinking about putting it in our living room as well. Let me know what you think!

I installed earth weeks in my living, room family room, and dining... . 3 years later they are awful. I do have a dog and asked about this when making a decision.... the salesman said “ these will hold up better than hardwood”.
The finish on them actually started peeling away just 8 months after install... after an arduous and important conversation with retailer and going through multiple people they sent out to interrogate me and feed me lots of BS, they reimbursed me for 80% of the cost.

It is just myself , Dog and husband in this house, we never wear shoes inside and keep a very tidy place....
These floors are worthless!

I purchased my floors June 2014, three years later, they looked like crap. If you read their warranty and maintenance specs, they are not responsible for anything really. I will definitely leave them bad reviews every where! I spent almost $3,000 on just the wood, and we installed it ourselves. the top layer coating wore off. Their maint specs say no water on the floors, no steam mop, no pets, no dirt- you are to put a rug at your entry way and not walk across the floors with dirt on the bottom of your shoes. I would have never purchased these floors, I purchased the 5" Appaloosa raised, hand scraped look. the raised parts of the board wore off. I don't know what to do. Looking to lightly sand and restain or should I just pull them up and throw them away and say lesson learned?

We purchased a home in 2016 with approximately 3000sqft of Earthwerks EPX 501, Express Hickory Kona. The finish starting coming off in random places throughout the house a few years later. I've been attempting to get some resolution with the Parent Company, Swiff-Train for two years. The sent out an "Independent Inspector" to inspect my claims. They then went dark on me and I just recently was able to get someone to return my calls and reopen our claim. I finally received a copy of the biased inspection that was seemed more focused on my furniture not having felt pads than the actual finish that is degrading. I've filed a complaint with the BBB, Texas AG, US Consumer Protection Agency, and more to come. Did I mention I have 3000sqft of this junk in my house? I'm not done with this company. They told me I was the only one that theyve recieved complaints about this flooring. I wasnt until I started emailing the CEO of Swiff-Train that I actually got a response. I encourage anyone with this flooring to do the same. I know I'm not the only person that is tired of companies not standing behind their products and giving customers the runaround to avoid responsibility.

These floors are garbage. The amount they peel from just normal living is ridiculous. anyone have any luck with the warranty being honored or is it just excuses and gonna be blamed on the fact that I actuallly live in my home

Glad to read these reviews. We had shortlisted Earthwerks Backlands engineered wood... now we will be looking for another product line. Would appreciate any feedback from others on other options? Mohawk/BPI/Hartco etc...
