I posted this question earlier, but it disapeared in cyberspace. Today was a big DIY bust. I am still prepping the concrete for my engineered hardwood. I am going to use Bostik MVP4, and Best. In the meantime, I was going to repair the pock marks from the carpet strips. I followed directions for mixing the mapei planipatch to a tee. It set up in about two minutes. I mixed another batch, and added extra water. Super...for about four minutes. Is there a more newbie friendly product I can use? Or, should I stop sweating it, and let the MVP fill in the depressions?
