can flooring be cut after install?

I recently had 1.6k s/f of braz teak (cumaru) installed and the installers planned for t-molding where the wood meets the tile. I specifically asked the tile installers to plan for the wood to meet directly and they did a great job ensuring that the lines were straight and the height matched exaclty. Unfortunately, the wood installers planned for T-molding and left a small gap between the wood and tile. In areas where the wood butts direclty into the tile, the planks were not all cut to the same size.

I would like to know if there is a tool or methodology available to cut the flooring that is already installed in a straight line to support a parallel piece of flooring material to be installed between the wood and tile.

I do not want the t-molding or any other "transition strip" but would rather have a seamless transition between the flooring surfaces.

Any assistance would be appreciate. I tried posting this question on another wood flooring forum only to have people ask me more questions and blame me for the circumstances.

I am only looking for some kind advice and do not want to focus on the endless events that evolved through this processs and how I may have done things differently to avoid the same problem down the line. I am not an idiot and am capable of figuring this out for myself.

Thanks in advance for any intelligent and helpful replies.
