I want to know how people get sweaters finished for kids before they grow out of the size! LOL

I am afraid my nieces will grow out of it before I finish or they will decide they no longer like the color/pattern.

That sweater is really cute. Good job.
Janie_Ga, I'm with you. I've decided to make a sweater at least one size bigger than they are when I start. Between my sloweness, their growing and the change of seasons here(MA) it's a challenge to get it right. So far, so good(I've only done one sweater - made it last spring and GS wore it this fall/winter. It was a bit big at first but, he's three and growing by leaps and bounds each month, so he'll probably grow out of by this spring).
