Well thanks for the reply but its not reasonable to remove 720sf of newly laid flooring and raise the floor up another 1/2 to 1" also make a 1" high threshold to each exit from the Living room. I could have installed 1/8" electric floor mats but I would have a 1/2" or more threshold to each room.
I'm looking for an AFTER fix. I do not want to start over from scratch, the LR is 32x24 average and is full of furniture. It took 2 days just to remove all the staples from the old carpet pad and all the tiles were cracked and broken around the perimeter of the slab where somebody drove nails into them for tack strips. It took 1 bag of mortar mix just to fill the edges. What I should of done was to bust out the slab and build a real floor that matched with the plywood sub floor in the other half.
I suppose I could attach the radiant track on the bottom of the slab.
