Anyone done the Tapesty Afghan?

There's a picture of a gorgeous knit afgan in the "Vogue Knitting American Classics" (or whatever the real title is) that is just beautiful. It's a design by Nicky Epstein to look like a Jacobean crewel Tree of Life.

Has anyone done it? I'm wondering how fussy it is with all those color changes? How long did it take to do?

I guess no one has any answer for you! I have a wall hanging of The Tree of Life. It's really pretty, but looks like it would be a bear to knit!

There's so much I want to try. I just need an extra year to do it in. I have Nicky Epstein's book, "Knitting on the Edge," and would like to try a lot of her designs. That Tree of Life sounds like it would be beautiful!
