Hi there, newbie here. I'm hoping to get some feedback on the layout below (assuming I figure out how to upload a picture). Sorry for the poor quality. Scanner isn't working, so had to take a pic with my camera phone.

The big opening on the left is the family room. The pocket door on the right goes to the dining room. The island is all 1-level. The drawing doesn't quite correctly show that there is an overhang allowing for 3 seats. The island is roughly 3'x6' (though i was hoping for bigger).

I've been working with a KD for a little while now, and I think this is the 10th (and so far best) design so far. Our priorities were walk-in pantry and island. However, I still have a few issues:

1. Fridge placement. I'm considering moving it to where the M/W and convection oven are, so it's closer in the "work triangle". But then not sure where to put M/W and oven. Just do a swap? Would the oven be too far away?

2. prep sink placement. Move it closer to range in the island so there's a bigger landing area from the fridge?

3. Big blank wall along the southern wall. What to do? Not enough space for cabinets, and frankly probably don't need more since there's the walk-in pantry. Just put artwork?
