Thanks, Mimi. I can see some suggestions I can still implement as I am at the mid point. But I do want to study her suggestions. It does seem to me that she has made it more complicated with more ends to sew in than I might want to take on. Will review it later when I have more time.

It worked out great, Mimi, and I was able to take some suggestions from the site to enlarge the sweater, which I sent on to the mother. I suspect it is on the large side, but he will be able to wear it longer too.
