Mary, I could have typed your message myself! It took me 3 months to get a decent pair of socks, and I'm working on a pair now that will be too small, but I'll finish them up anyway.

Socks are a challenge. I posed the gusset hole question myself a while ago, so below is the thread with a couple of suggestions.

So now you have 3 extra socks?....Decorate them and give them to someone filled with candy and little stuff for Christmas.

Also, what a great idea to do with my 3 extra socks. I never thought of that before. I'm putting them in my christmas present stash. Thanks again!

I get a double set of needles and work on both socks at the same time. Then when you are done, you are really done!!

Omigosh Susan, I'm afraid if I did that I would really get confused and forget where I am on each sock. He ha. I think I better stick to one at a time for the time being. It is fun though, now I know what all the fuss about sock knitting is about.
