Thanks, Donna. I have spent more on the buttons than on the yarn for some baby sweaters. Will have to try these.

I have been making buttons using the instructions posted above, but I insert a plastic button inside it before pulling the drawstring. You could insert a small bead to make it a round ball shape that is more firm than yarn stuffing.
