Crocheted Popcorn Garland???

Hi,I'm looking for a simple crochet pattern for a Christmas tree garland that looks like popcorn,using regular yarn.

Hi, I have a pattern that my Mom gave to me many years ago. I still use it on my own tree.

Hook size F
Worsted weight yarn - 4 ounces (makes 20 ft. chain)

Ch. 8, join with sl st. to form loop for hanging. Ch 4, 4 dc's in fourth ch from hook, * remove hook from loop, insert hook through third ch of ch 4 and pull dropped loop through, pull to tighten, ch 4, make 4 dc's on pulled through loop at top back of popcorn just made, repeat from * for length desired. Ch 8, sc in first ch of ch 8 to form end hanging loop. Cut yarn and tie off.

Here's a pattern I found but it does not look that good, in my opinion. If you search under Crochet Garland Christmas you'll come up with some other hits.

Thank you,Socks for the site but that is not what I'm looking for.
The garland is crocheted with white yarn and it twists and turns. When it is on a Christmas tree it looks like strands of popcorn.
I made them years ago by making a long chain and then crocheting several rows, but I can't remember what stitch I used to make it twist and turn or how many rows to crochet.

I'm sure glad you weren't looking for the one on the link! LOL! I did see a really pretty crocheted or knitted garland, but I sure cannot remember where. I was going to post it here, but thought no one would be interested. Maybe I'll stumble across it again.
