Seems to me I saw a pattern but can't think where. I want to knit a simple vest, maybe with a yarn-over lacey pattern so it doesn't get too boring like stockinette stitch, on large needles so it goes fast, either knit sideways so there's just shoulder seams to sew, or all one piece (fronts and back together) knit bottom-up then separated at the underarms.

Am I asking too much ???
