My query exactly. A knitting friend told me about a clear reinforcing yarn, but I've never been able to find it. I do think reinforcing the heel makes sense, as that's the area recieving the most wear. What about the toe? If anyone knows about this clear stuff, please let me know. Ta, ever so.
