need help with hat pattern

Hi there,

I was hoping someone could help me with the decreasing on my hat I'm working on. It's a ribbed pattern, p3 k1, I made one awhile ago but I don't have the pattern any more and I can't remember how to decrease. If anyone knows it would be greatly appreciated!

I assume you are working in the round. I would dec 1 st in every other purl group. next row k1,p2,k1,p3 around. Next row dec in p3 groups .next row k1,p2 around. next row k1 p2tog around and then k1,p1 around that should do it then just pull yarn through remaining sts. Hope this helps Ellie ( oops, I meant rounds, not rows)
