Shopping for fans. Is higher the cfm better or higher the rpm.?
Found 2 fans I like, one has 6000+ CFM with 140rpm and another with 4500cfm with 160 rpm.Not sure which one to go with. Any suggestions very helpful. Thanks

For my family room a little less than 300 sq feet and ceiling hgt is 12 feet. We have only 2 months of severe muggy heat and no central a/c. So want something with good airflow.

You are shopping for a stand alone room fan that has "good airflow?" I trust you mean higer air flow when you say "Good."

You then post two candidates - one with a higer air flow than the other?
