Our range and backsplash have been installed for a bit more than 3 1/2 years and the stainless backsplash (a piece of sheet metal on the wall spanning between range and hood) still looks as new as it did when installed. The 6" backguard with the oven vent is a bit blackened around the vent and some darker stains are on it but I really haven't worked at it in any determined way with a cleanser (I should try some Barkeepers.) All in all I'm very happy with the wear.

Mine also looks perfect after 5 years - Dacor behind 48 " Dacor range - sorry no pics.

I just spritz mine with Hope Perfect Kitchen and wipe with a microfiber cleaning cloth. I do have to use a wee bit of elbow grease around the vent when I run the oven clean cycle - but that's all. I love it - really glad we chose it was we cook constantly - 3 meals a day.
