I have a small bathroom (approximately 5'x8' which is heated only by an infrared ceiling light/fan combo. I'd like to add to the heating for the winter. My first thought was to have under-the-floor heating installed, and I have two contractors preparing bids for this. Just recently it occurred to me that I might be able to achieve the same goal by installing a heated towel rack at much less cost. There's no room for a wall-mounted heater such as I use in the other rooms of the house. What do you think? I only want to add the extra heat when I'm taking a shower.
