any thoughts between Jacobean and Dark Walnut on white oak floors?

Both are very popular right now. We make a tone of white oak floors for Houzz users. I would say client reach their preference from different directions. The walnut stain is usually used by clients that want walnut but want the 30% harder floor from the white oak. The jacobean is just something clients see and decide its the one for them. I have red oak floors that will get sanded. Im wondering what I will get with half jacobean and half ebony. I dont want red on my floors, Im looking for chocolate but not super dark. thanks

Your installer should certainly be able to show you on a sample board.

I want to use wide plank floors in our New jersey beach house, but I'm having a difficult time finding what I like. Please help.

so Eutree... any idea if that will work? Ebony and Jacobean on red oak 3" planks. they are 20 years old. Will I still get a red cast? Maybe I wont have him use moisture cure poly and use a water based.

There may still be red tones but I really think those two stains will cover most anything that would show up. Water based poly finish is always a good idea. It keeps the golden yellow tones from showing up.
