Fridgidaire is a Nordyne Product.
Also marketed as Maytag, Tappan, Kelvinator, Gibson, Westinghouse.
These multi-teir brands have been growing and with exception to the 23 SEER Maytag, are a no-thrills, reliable product.

Comparable to anything else out there. All Copeland scroll compressors, most models have swept wing fan blades and heavy top that makes them rather quiet. The base models get between 13 & 15 SEER depending upon which indoor section is used. All but builder units have 10 year quality pledge that replaces entire outdoor unit plus paying $250 towards it if the compressor fails in 10 years (original owner).

I just had my 10 seer Frigidaire heatpump and air handler replaced with a new 13 seer. I'd like to know if you old 10 seer had a copeland scroll compressor??? I can't seem to find out. The compressor went bad in my 10 seer, and I'm curious.
