Since you checked the drum for sharp objects, my guess is that the holes were caused by other items in the wash load. Be sure to zip/snap/button all closures before washing. Open zippers in particular can cause damage in a FL washer as clothing rubs together while it is tumbled.

Or those little metal closures at the bottom of the zipper when garment is inside-out. I had that problem once, then sewed the zipper with button hole thread and removed the offending clamp. A little iron on fabric might have done the same. Couldn't find any.

Yes I too have this problem. Maybe it's because I've been washing my Orvis 100% cotton

t-shirts with my jeans?? I'm going to try washing them separately on warm water. I like hot water to help get out the body odor, but maybe I'm going to have to live with body odor over buying expensive t-shirts every 2 months!!
