I wouldn’t. I see the lint that builds up over time in my laundryroom even with proper venting. I wouldn't want that on my clothing,

If you have a vented dryer, it may not be much of a problem, and maybe consider adding a ceiling exhaust fan.

If it is a condensing dryer it does cause a lot of humidity. I had a condensing dryer in my primary closet and it would get hot and humid in there.

I sometimes do a load of laundry late at night, when DH is sleeping, so I wouldn't want it in the master closet

@chispa is right about doing a load at night, or if partner is sick in bed.

Also dragging especially dirty clothes into the space, rather than a proper laundry room with a utility sink.

My laundry is part of the primary bath, no issues with extra humidity, it is vented.

If you are a no hobby/no dirty clothes family, it may be fine.

The newer all-in-one W/D units use heat pump technology so humidity is almost nonexistent. Look at GE, LG and Samsung. The applaince nerds on Reddit hate the Samsung as I guess it is one that has a bad track record regarding needing service.

I have an LG because Costco had a deal last Christmas. I love it.

Avoid models that have a condenser style dryer.
