We are finishing our basement and the electrician is planning on using 5" Juno LED recessed lights. We only have halogen recessed lights in the rest of the house and we are nervous about what they will look like. Any suggestions on which is better. Also he gave us NO light plan. He is just placing them wherever. Is there a guideline we should be following? Most of the ceiling is just under 8 feet. But we do have a long soffit area (filled with ductwork) that is 6 feet by 30 feet and this ceiling height is 6' 8". Any help would be appreciated.
