lighting for small spaces

Hello,

I just downsized from a 2800sq ft home to a 1000 sq ft home and I need some ideas about lighting for a small space. One bedroom does not have a light fixture only outlets for lamps. Is there anything you can suggest I do other than lamps??? THANKS! By the way PICS would be appreciated!!!!!

Have you considered wall sconces? There are many styles to chooose from that you can plug in if you don't want to redo any wiring. There are swing arm, stationary, shaded, gooseneck, etc. It gets the light farther up on the wall than a lamp and you can either up light or down light with them. I am using quite a few sconces in our new house (direct wire) which is a new thing for me. But it is a really nice lighting you may want to check into.
