I'm remodeling the kitchen and am a bit lost on the lighting. Kitchen is modern: blue cabinets, white walls, white countertop, stainless appliances.

1. I'm trying to decide between skinny fluorescents or LEDs for undercabinet lights.

2. I have about 3' of wall with no wall cabinets and want some form of skinny fluorescent light halfway up the wall: seen them at IKEA, anyone any opinion?

3. I have a sloping fairly tall ceiling: good ideas on what would draw attention to the slope in the ceiling? I thought about maybe a couple of big round fluorescent fixtures but not at all sure.

4. Where do I go (in Massachusetts) to see what these lights really look like? My HD doesn't have them wired up on display.
