Curious, why do you need a warm rinse? Some machines with ATC may generate a "cooler" warm for rinse than for wash.

LG does.

Ask people with chemistry background - modern detergent products and their many additives are going to be left in without at least one warm rinse. One then follows it with a final cold rinse to reduce wrinkles.

Interesting. Never heard that about modern detergents. Being that so many machines nowadays don't provide for warm rinses at all, is it really a problem? Years ago when soap was common instead of synthetic detergents, warm rinses were the norm to help get rid of the soap curd.

If extra rinsing is a concern for you, perhaps running your loads on which it is an issue through a 2nd full cycle at minimal wash time with a warm temperature would be reasonable.

The other concern is cold water temp in northern climates during the winter. A Florida winter 70F cold rinse isn't the same as a New England 40F (or lower in some places) cold rinse. Are modern detergents so good that they dilute well and wash out of clothes as temps approach freezing?

miksh,
as "premier" stated the LG has the warm rinse. You can get:

cold/cold
warm/cold
warm/warm
hot/cold
extra hot/cold

I generally wash normal loads in warm/warm and heavily colored items (that are somewhat new) in cold/cold, if they are old colored clothes they are washed in warm/cold.
