Help! Different pendant light lengths

The electrician installed the pendant lights - 2 at the right length and 1 shorter. Is there is "best" height above a peninsula for a light? Should we just have him shorten the 2 pendants to match the shorter one or is there a way to lengthen the short one?

If installed correctly there should be some extra wiring wrapped up inside the ceiling. Ours are 36" above the counter which I believe is quite standard. However, they could be adjusted if you, for some reason, don't want to block a view or are at risk at hitting them for some reason.

Well, it looks like each of the 3 pendants is a different height. Plus they are hung from a track so there's really no extra wiring...
