Provenza used a UV cured oil . So it's not as open as just plain oil. A mild detergent should be fine. I,m doing three different jobs with their floor right now. I am in contact with someone who really knows I will ask.

They do make their own cleaner, which I have bought some of. But it would be nice to find something more readily available to clean it with.

I spoke to the company this morning. Besides their own product which has a small amount of oil in and rejuvenates the floor as well, you can use products by Bonakemi the Swedish company. They are widely available in stores and
on-line under the brand name Bona.

Thanks for the info John. I actually contacted Bona and they said their product shouldn't be used on an oil finished floor. Probably a cya thing.

Are you in OC? Do you do Provenza floor installs? We think we want to install it upstairs in our house as well. Love the floor. Hated our installer.
