Are you looking for outlets or UCL?

The system I looked at on their website had interchangeable outlets, ucls, and phone/iPod usb port. The different components popped in or out depending on what you needed, although I would imagine once you got them positioned you would probably leave them alone. It would eliminate outlets in the backsplash and include ucl in one system. Just wondering what people thought of the system.

If the outlets are not in the backsplash, they would be under the cabinets.

Under cabinet sockets
1. There would be dangling wires, possible dropping plugs.
2. Probably need to bend over to see if the plug is being inserted correctly. Not many people can blind insert a plug.
3. Takes more effort since you're working against gravity.

Wall mount sockets
1. More natural motion to insert.
2. Interruptions in the backsplash.
