CFL dimmable for Post light?

Can anyone reccomend a CFL bulb for an outdoor postlight? I live in central NY , thus the temperatures drop in the winter time. The light should be dimmable too because the post is on a sensor with 1/2 use in normal operation and full use when it senses motion.

I looked around a lot in past and I don't think that you will find one that will operate in the winter temps you get. Especially one that will dim, too.

It's not going to happen.

Use a halogen lamp, like a Sylvania 18905. There are certain applications where a CFL makes no sense. This is one of them.
