Hello all.

We are in the midst of a kitchen overhaul and will be ready for paint next week. Our cabinets are cherry (medium brown), granite is black pearl and I'm 80% confident that our backsplash will be Jeffrey Court's Fire & Ice Brick Quartz (with the option of replacing some of the clear glass with another color if need be). The reason I say 80% is because I've been eating/breathing/sleeping paint swatches and none are 'it' for me.

The kitchen opens to the family room which is BM Lennox Tan, has a doorway to the dining room which is black with white wainscotting and a doorway to the foyer/hall which is SW Blonde. Our house is colonial and pretty much has a traditional/transitional vibe going through it. Nothing crazy. The flooring is a taupe 18x18 ceramic tile. We get plenty of light.

The only color family I'm really not in favor of is blue. The entire house is earth tones and neutrals so I'm leaning towards either a brown or green. I am partial to BM paint - haven't had a bad result yet.

I would post pix but the cabinets aren't in yet - all you would see is drywall and hardiboard. Any suggestions would be appreciated more than you can ever imagine!
