problem with low-voltage pendants buzzing

I've recently remodeled my kitchen and included some low-voltage mini-pendats over the bar area, which are beautiful, but they buzz pretty obnoxiously. Although I am pretty sensitive to electrical noise, my husband can hear it too.

They hang by wires that can be cut for height adjustment, which we've recently done and now the lights buzz when they're off. My husband tried re-mounting them with the idea that maybe he'd turned the set screw too tight the first time and that helped a bit.

I am using a regular Lutron Maestro dimmer, which the tech specs of the lights said was allowed. I believe the transformer is an electronic one, which I understand are less likely to make noise.

Any ideas?

As a sidenote, it seems that a lot of things in my house are emitting electrical noise now from the halogen lights in my vent hood to the low-voltage thermostat in the hallway. Yikes!

Thanks in advance for your consideration.
