Should we put chrome fixtures in our new master bathroom? We are building a house and the rest of the house will be rubbed bronze (door knobs, lights, etc.). I think chrome would look better with the master bath color scheme. Is it ok to not match the rest of the house and the bathroom door knobs and is chrome still in style?

Mixing up the finishes in any space adds interest and personality! If you feel the chrome would look better, then do it! I would suggest, however, to use chrome throughout the bathroom to create continuity with your overall look.

Polished nickel is also a lovely option.

You can't go wrong with chrome.

I agree with the polished nickel comment. Both chrome and pn are silver but worlds apart. like the difference between a nice stainless steel spoon and a sterling silver one however pn us more expensive and harder to find
