I am not a fan of cans even though we have installed more than I can begin to count including in master bedrooms. We do what the customer says. Ask yourself, self, what is the purpose of ceiling lights in my bedroom? Why would I want to light my bedroom like my family room? A nice chandelier on a dimmer makes more sense to me if you're asking.

I was asking! Thanks for the input. I read on another thread that you are an electrician so a great source of info. Chandelier was what I was thinking but was having a hard time picturing what kind. We are building a colonial in case anyone has a suggestion.
