I'm considering buying a 16 yr old mobile home and if I do, I want to redecorate it, and I am concerned about how to deal with the seams in the walls. I would want to put up beadboard - is this doable? The RE agent told me that I can't remove the strips on the walls and ceiling because they are for movement of the home. I live in an area that has extreme temperature differences between winter and summer (east coast of Canada). Would I be stuck with the seams?
