Can't decide on appliances

I am trying to decide what appliances to get for my kitchen remodel. I have picked out a Brookhaven cabinet that is a natural maple color with a vanilla glaze.

I want a light granite counter top (greys, cream, little gold/yellow) The floor is a Prego tile look sandstone. (The only thing that is staying from old kitchen)

I was thinking of getting bisque, but I am having trouble finding a refrigerator that is counter depth. There are only two made, a Maytag and GE. They look too big and bulky for my small condo kitchen. I have been looking at the stainless and found the Fisher Paykel refrigerator, which I really like, and comes in a smaller size, but I can't find a range, OTR microwave that doesn't have a lot of black. I like the Electrolux range, but I'm concerned with all the black on the door and back panel.

The condo is on the beach, and is decorated in all soft colors. Nothing is dark. I think the black will look out of place. The kitchen is too small for a professional range.

Anyone have any ideas, or pictures of a natural maple kitchen where the only thing that is dark is the black on the range.

Bosch makes a white and stainless range that looks very nice. I don't know how much you want to allot toward a frig but check out Liebherr, Blomberg, and ... I forget the others. Do a search over on the Appliance forum and you'll find alot of hits. Good luck!

How about a Smeg in cream? :)

Here is a link that might be useful: SMEG at AJ Madison

Could you swing getting a counter depth that accepts panels and have Brookhaven panels made for the fridge? Check out Jenn-Air and Kenmore. I think they both have bisque appliances without a lot a black on them.

I thought of getting the counter depth with the panels, but doesn't the panel just cover the front of the door? The sides of the door that would be showing would still be the black or white.
I would really like to go with the FP refrigerator, but not sure how the range and OTR Microwave would look. I like the look of the Bosch range with white and I know there is also glass door refrigerator in white, but the rest of the living area attached to the kitchen is accented with creams/ivory and I don't know how the white would look.

I don't like the paneled ones much (even builtins unless they are totally integrated), but it might be right for you. Many of them have stainless frames instead of black, which might be subtle enough with your cabinet choice.

(The Smeg is an adorable fridge, but only has freezer space for a tray of ice cubes and a box of popsicles. Otherwise I'd have one!)

If you paneled the doors, you'd want to get the end panels for the sides, too, I'd think. Are those not in your cabinet plans? Does the fridge stand alone or up against the cabinets?

I'm getting the end panels, but doesn't the side of the door itself show with the custom panels? I thought the panel just covered the front of the refrigerator.

I'm not having a problem picking out a ss refrigerator, I would love to get the Fisher Paykel.

I'm having a problem with the range and OTR microwave.

They all have so much black on them, that I'm afraid they will stick out like a sore thumb, with all the light colors I'm using. That is why I started looking at the Bisque appliances. The bisque will look nice with the cabinets, but I'm having a problem trying to find a counter depth or a refrigerator I could recess into the wall in bisque. They all have a textured finished (don't like) or the doors and handles on the counter depth are very bulky for my small kitchen.

I really wanted to stay under 33" for the refrigerator. I am open to a top freezer, bottom freezer, or french door in bisque with a smooth finish either 30" or 33". I have about 3 1/2" that I could recess into the wall.

It's very hard - stainless found great refrigerator, but no range. Bisque I found a range I like, but no refrigerator.
