We went out and picked up a Blanco Silgranit sink yesterday for our new kitchen. Although we are still installing cabinets, we have signed a contract for granite countertops and they are waiting for us to get the base cabinets in. Now I'm wondering if the Silgranit sink plus disposal is too heavy to be attached to the granite ( we are getting 1 & 1/4" granite - no plywood base)? Will they need to build a support under the sink? Anyone else have a Silgranit sink with 1 & 1/4" granite?
