We're building a new home and the stainless steel kitchen sink I ordered more than 5 weeks ago just arrived. It has a small (half-inch long, quarter-inch deep) dent at the edge of the front rim. Does anyone know if this can be successfully repaired? And if so, what sort of company/craftsman might do such things? The on-line company I ordered from is willing to replace it, but I can't wait another month or more. I called a local metal fabricator but they said it isn't something they do. Home Depot can order the same (apparently not very popular) model, but theirs will take three weeks and cost $90 more. Our builder is already upset that it took so long to get this one, but doesn't think it can be successfully undented. He would really like me to just get a standard two bowler, but I really want this large one-bowl model. Any opinions?
