We just had an wrought iron staircase railing installed with a brass top rail. We really don't like the shiny brass look and would like it to age to a nice patina. We had a dispute with the installer so I can't call him about it. Is there any practical way to speed up the aging process, or do we just have to wait. We live in a pretty dry area so it could take a lot of time for it to age naurally. Thanks for any suggestions.
