Master Bath Redo

We finished adding shelves in between the sinks, painted cabinets, added new accessories, changed the light fixtures, mirrors, hardware and faucets. I'd still like to eventually add valances to the windows and paint or get a new shower door. But for now it's DONE.

Thanks for the previous input on the room guys.

Wow, you did a beautiful job. I'm so glad you posted and got the idea to add shelves and baskets where you used to store your garbage can - very attractive feature now from something that seemed to be a mistake of left over space between vanities. Great.

My goodness! It takes a bit to impress me but you did it dino.
What is so impressive is you didn't tear out floor,
cabinets, tub etc but just gave it new makeup, nip and tuck and what a beautiful bath!!!

    Wonderful job.

Love it! I like how you put the shelves and baskets in between the sinks now, so you're not featuring your waste basket. Looks much better!

You did a great job. I love the new fixtures and shelves. The baskets are a perfect finishing touch.

I think I'd submit this one to a decorating magazine before/after!

Very nice job!! you would never it was the same room. I like the idea of the ORB tub faucet and the crystal knobs. Nice touch. Love wall color too.

Looks really nice! What color are your walls?

Wow! How did you do the shelves? My place has so little storage, and I never sit to do my make-up...this could be a solution for me...I don't think I can do it though, because my cabs are a laminate and I don't think our kitchen guy would ever do such a small job...sorry to ramble but you've got me completely inspired, lol

    Great job, it looks amazing!

I agree with everyone here that it looks wonderful. It could be my monitor, but also the lighting in the photos, so I have to ask: what color were the cabs originally and what color did you paint them? They do look wonderful...
and absolutely the shelves you added just have to be the most amazing change.

Thanks to everyone for all the nice comments and for all the help and ideas. I think I want to put valances on the 2 windows, so I may be asking for more help eventually. Who needs a designer with this forum. It's awesome.

Anyway as for the details, what few there are:

We painted the cabinets and the tub tile (primed the tile first) then painted it in SHerwin Williams -Svelte Sage. The wall color is SW - Ancient Marble.

We replaced the knobs on the cabinets and

As for the towel racks, tp holder and faucets. We primed and painted with metal primer and paint. We used 2 different colors paint in addition to primer.

    Thanks again for the help.

acoreanna..My husband just cut wood to fit the space between the sinks, added a trim piece to the outside edges of two boards and painted them the same as the cabinets. Good luck, and post if you decide to do your shelves.

Mayvenne..the original cabinet color was white. I just forgot to take a photo before I painted the cabinets sage green. Painting the cabinets was the first thing that we did.

Wow, it looks great! I love the idea of building shelves between the cabinets. Did you put some glazing on your cabinets?

What a great job you did. You sure do have talent! It is gorgeous.

Thanks so much happy... and princess..

happy, no we didn't add a glaze. I wonder if we should? What do you all think? Anyone painted cabinets before?

    >>As for the towel racks, tp holder and faucets. We primed and painted with metal primer and paint. We used 2 different colors paint in addition to primer. Question for you, Dinobambino: how are the painted faucets holding up? What brand & color of metal paint did you use on them?
    Thanks!
