Here's the kitchen.

I'd go to houzz.com and look at dining rooms for inspiration. Don't pay attention to the size of the room compared to yours, but look for a room that has a style and color palette that you like...it will help guide your choices.

You may want to start with the most expensive piece to guide the rest of the choices, like the rug. You want the rug to be big enough that the chairs can be pushed back easily and still stay on the rug. Why a solid rug? Usually that will be a more contemporary look. Seems like you are leaning traditional. I love the second chair. Where did you see that? The lines are a bit unique. When choosing paint colors, it is easy to get overwhelmed. Definitely browsing other dining rooms will get you going in a direction. It is nice to have a vision to work towards. Its a lot harder to come up with one ourselves.

World market has som similar chairs on sale now. Some as low as 90.00. Also, check jcpenney.
