How many projects do have started?

Too many for me. I've started painting my kitchen cupboards, installing a pocket door, removed the ceiling and walls leading to the basement (to open it up more and put ceiling lights in to fix the poor lighting), took down the front entrance wall to the hall closet to move it over 6 inches to fit a bench in (husband is furious to come home today and found wall taken out, oops) scraped living room and dining room ceilings - yet to be painted, and will have to scrape front hall now that the wall will be moved over and have a chalk board to paint in the basement for the kids. There, now that I have it out there, hope to motivate myself to do it! Anyone else?

    Oh my.

Let's just say I'm there with you and more.

We couldn't make a hasty exit from this house if circumstances turned against us...I think about that often...we had a neighbor who kept his house and yard *immaculate* and perfect purely because he wanted to be able to liquidate immediately if he got laid off. Smart of him, as he ended up having to do so, but we have so many holes in this house right now that it would almost look like a distress sale.

We're hip deep in a bathroom remodel and at the same time we are having a new boiler put in to include breaking our house into as many zones as possible. The latter is relatively stress free for us except for writing the big check but the former has been like pulling teeth since before christmas to get the plumber to do his job. He FINALLY finished roughing in the shower (the last outstanding thing) thank goodness. Remind me next time to KISS (keep it simple, stupid). Between my toto toilet and my in floor heat and my lovely towel warmer it's been... interesting.

I'm not even thinking about what I'd do if we had to make a hasty exit though, yikes! I wonder if in some ways that was a self fulfilling prophecy for your neighbor. I know we'd do everything we had to do and cut everything we could to keep our house if it came to that.

Too many to count! I'm always half way through everything in reality with several dozen more projects waiting in the wings and a few kazillion more piling up in my head. But I'm working on it! Some days more than others.

We have almost done syndrome. We have everything just about finished up and then I go and rip wallpaper down somewhere. In our kitchen. We need to caulk the granite counters tot eh backsplash, in our bathrooms I need to switch out towel bars etc. In guest bath it needs some paint touch up. We need a good Saturday to just FINISH THINGS!

Oh yes! Too many here as well. My dh started putting down the tile in the basement bathroom back in November and hasn't touched it since due to all the holiday activities. In trying to organize all the kids toys, I've purchased, stained and poly'd the wood to put up shelving in my dd room for all her stuffed animals. I also have some shelves done to add the the entertainment center in their play room to better utilize that space. Now that the Christmas tree is down, I didn't put the furniture back hoping dh is still on board for me painting all the paneling in the living room. Hopefully soon????? I also want to scrape off the cottage cheese in the guest bedroom and bathroom, but we keep having guests so I can't be without the rooms. Maybe soon as well?

I'm tired just thinking about all the work....

Too many! Our house was never quite finished when we built it (staining and varnishing doors and windows) and now I want to change some things already! There are some things that we did when we built this house that we regret and now we're working (albeit very slowly) on rectifying our mistakes. So, we're redoing our kitchen island, we've got trim to put up, dh wants to finish part of the basement, and the list goes on!

It doesn't help that dh is gone a lot for work...
