Our cabinets are being painted pale blue and have their own crown molding. The do not reach the ceiling - they fall about 8 inches short of the 9 ft. ceiling. The kitchen is a large rectangle about 17x30. The wall cabinets will go in 1/2 (17x16) on all three walls and the eating area will be in the other half (17x14). The island will separate the two areas.

What color would you paint the 5 in. ceiling crown? Blue like the cabinets or cream like the crown in the eating area and the casings around the doors and windows? Or do you do blue in the entire room? Or do you not put in ceiling crown where the cabinets are?
