I am changing up my entire color scheme from cool colors to warmer colors. I have a white tile floor in the eat in kitchen (Ugh! Tell me about it!!) that I can't afford to change out just yet. In the mean time, I want to use rugs to warn up the floor a bit (wool ones Pottery Barn-type). I plan to have a rug under the table and another one in the center of the kitchen. Since these rugs will be relatively close how do I match them up? I assume that they shouldn't be the same rug. Do I do one patterned and one solid that picks up one of the colors in the other? Any ideas??
