Reasonable Winter bath project - finished

We needed to update one of our tired guest bathrooms. Used by our four children for 18 years, now retired to their occasional visits home. The sheet vinyl, a very good quality at the time, had to go, replaced with 2" octagon and square ceramic
tile. We hired a friend to do that. The rest was cosmetic. I followed several tutorials in blogs to do the board and batten wall treatment, and hung new lights and some new chrome fixtures. The vanity light is Delta Victorian. Some coral and misty green towels and rugs warmed it up. I used SW Tradewind for the green/blue in satin, and Valspar Du Jour for the white, in a semi-gloss.
The whole refresh was fairly inexpensive, coming in at well under $1K. It can be done!
Before - I'm glad I used wall prep 18 years ago when I put up the wallpaper! It came off easily.

Old pulls, worn out brass

Used a simple track to get light into the shower

I bought a Croscill linen from Joann's to make the cafe curtain. Painting out the window was probably the biggest pain.
