I saw a really narrow table just last night, actually. I'm thinking it was somewhere between 28" - 33" wide, expandable with leaves on the ends. DH really liked it, but we have a large room and I was afraid it would look more like a table runner than a table. :) I'll see if he remembers the manufacturer and get back to you. I'm thinking it was something with initials...

this site has some fabulous tables...can be made very narrow. Made in USA...no prices shown, though - may be worth contacting them.

Here is a link that might be useful: Narrow tables

oops, I didn't click far enough into their site. They do show prices. There is a 5% off sale and 3% further discount for signing up for their newsletter...looks like they offer free shipping, too.

Gah, of course now I can't find it. The store we were in is Nebraska Furniture Mart (www.nfm.com). You might want to browse their site and see if anything has the dimensions you're after (just so you know what makes might meet your needs).
