Looks great! I know what you mean about the dust. We started our kitchen reno 2 weeks ago. Looking forward to the "after".

So exciting! (And I completely understand about the dust - incredible, isn't it? I'm not sure I'll finish cleaning it all out of the nooks and crannies until next fall!)

We are putting in radiant flooring, stranded floating bamboo flooring, INSULATION, new windows, tin ceiling, a new ceiling fan, cherry shaker style cabinets, 48 inch DCS range, marble slab for baking, quartz countertops...all of which seems so FAR AWAY

We did the "light demo" this past week during the snowstorms, and our contractor (finally) is coming tomorrow to finish demo and hopefully start framing. Exciting isn't it!

Exciting! Can't wait to see the 'after!'

I'm looking for a cool old piece of stained glass to force me to finish mine, which was opened up and used for an A/C. (which looks tacky as H377)

I know all about that OLD dust! Isn't it awful? I started tearing apart the first weekend in Feb. Now we're into sheet rock. The dust never goes away. I did find the coolest old linoleum pieces and some horendously ugly wall paper. The newspapers under the lino were dated Dec. 28, 1950 and it was all about the blizzard in Chicago. Not at all what I was expecting. I saved a handful of square nails; some will go in the time capsul and some to save. It would be good if the weather would cooperate.
Have you found anything of interest in the walls?
